Jeffrey Rowe is a Canadian actor and voice actor, who played Paul on the NHK World series Nihongo Quick Lesson.
He grew up in Montague, Prince Edward Island in Canada and graduated from Montague Regional High School in 1997, where he initially learned about Shakespeare and studied drama. Later, he graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a degree in Business Administration via MacQuarie University in Sydney, Australia, where he got his first opportunities to act in film & TV.
Besides Nihongo Quick Lessons, he has appeared in many other NHK TV shows, including Your Japanese Kitchen, Ryomaden, Umechan Sensei, Tempest and more. He's also appeared recently in Little Love Song (2019), Matinee (2019), Futatsu no Sokoku (2019; TV Tokyo film) and Grand Maison Tokyo (2019; TBS).
After Nihongo Quick Lesson wrapped up, he moved to Canada and then back to Tokyo with his family to continue his acting / voice acting career.
