NHK Documentary is a documentary program on NHK World. Previous incarnations used the name Documentary, Documentary: 20 Minutes, and Documentary '90.[1]

The program was named "Documentary: 20 Minutes" and ran in a twenty-minute format in the late 2000s; it switched to a fifty-minute version named "NHK Documentary" in the spring of 2011. Programs from 1990 were titled "Documentary '90".[1]
